I just wondered if anyone has tried the new pill yasmin. I had been on triphasal 28 for about 7 years and just switched less than 2 weeks ago. My doc said that it may help with loosing weight. I just wonder if anyone else has used it and what they thought about it. Any reply would be appreciated. Thank you!

I used it a few months ago but eventually went off it because it made my mouth dry and I had to go to the bathroom a lot more frequently. I was also always thirsty and dehydrated!

I have been on yasmin for 2 months now...(trying to solve pms problems)...Pms has been non-existant, but so has my sex drive....I have had dry mouth also, and my face stays broken out (was always clear before)....The worst is the "no sex drive".....Anyone got any solutions?? I need to switch, but to what???

I am on yasmin, and really have had no side effects. My skin broke out when I was pregnant, but while on the pill, my skin has been nearly flawless. It was a highly recommended brand by my doctor. I used to use ortho-novum. That was a good pill too, no problems.

I have gained 4 lbs since beginning yasmin 4 months ago, but some of that weight could have gone to the larger cup size ( b-c). No other side effects here.
