Q: What Is This?

Okay, this is kind of embarassing, but I didn't know who else to ask(aside from a dr, but i'm currently unable to go to my doctor for now) i've recently been having a weird discharge. It's a clearish jelly like substance. I've never had it before, so I don't know?! Is there something wrong with me? And if so, what? Thanks.

Most women have some kind of discharge. It's usually clear, whiteish or can even have a yellow tint to it. Some women have more than others. It's perfectly normal.

Now, if the discharge has a funky odor to it, or has a tint of green, then you should probably see your Dr. Otherwise, you should be fine :-)

thank you. I was just a little worried because it's never happened before. It kind of make me afraid to do anything with a guy now..Cuz it might gross him out. I don't know. There's no funky odor or anything. I just wish it would go away. :(

Sometimes you'll have more and sometimes you will have hardly any. The older and more mature you get, the more you'll have. It's just those damn hormones that women have that determine what the body will do, lol. It's perfectly normal and shouldn't gross men out. It works really well as a natural lubricant :-)

if you're that worried about it, consult your dr and maybe they can tell you some ways to minimize the discharge.
