Hi christy,
I know how you feel about no one talking
on these forums. I guess people are
really busy. Congrats on making it to
the third trimester! I will be 32 weeks
tomorrow! I'm quite nervous, expecially
since this is our first child. My
husband and I are very excited. I just
love when she kicks and plays around in
there- it lets me know she's doing well!
I have a ob appt. Today- after 30 weeks,
you see your Dr. Every two weeks. I
can't believe how fast it's been. It
seems like only yesterday we found out we
were pregnant.
Tell me some of the symptoms you've been
experiencing. Me- the balls of my
feet hurt, pubic joint pain, and back
pain. Incontinence too!

Hello ladies. I definately can relate to
the no one talking on this particular
forum. I always am hoping someone is
talking baout something jsut because this
is my first bundle and like to read about
everyones experiences and stuff. So if
yall will write under the 3rd trimester
then I will do my best to respond. Deal?
I mean who knows maybe others will follow.
Lol.
Congrats to the both of you. I had a
dotors appt. Today and got my rhogam
shot. Ouch. So far the baby is really
healthy and all seems to be going well.
Right now she is weighing in @ 2lbs 0oz.
She is super active now a days and I like
you enjoy the movement, for the mose part
except when she digs her heel up in my rib
and its tough to breathe. Lol. I talk to
her when she moves and like to think shes
soaking in the info im taling to her
about.
Ive been fortunate not to have morning
sickness or feelings of uncomfort. I have
been more hungry it seems.Lol. For all
sorts of foods. Although nothing seems to
really be the best anymore.
Well thats alittle about me hopefully you
dont feel alone on here.
Take care ladies,
sheena

Wow, you're due date must be just two or
three days after mine! Mine is january
6th. Everytime I come on here to talk I
realize that messages have been posted
from august or something and then I can't
find hardly anyone to talk to. I only
come on here about once a week though. I
just thought i'd say hello to you since we
are due around the same time.

Wow.
So it seems as though a couple of our due
dates are close to eachother. Im am due
jan.10th and am like I said enjoying her
movement. Although the other nite I could
nite sleep a wink cause she is definately
more active at nite. She usually gets all
riled up around 1030 and will go strong
till about 4am. Lol. She loves diggin
her heels into me. Lol.
Hmmm. As for the iron, I actually just
got it checked and it normal so I luckily
dont have to take another pill. Mine are
horse pills already. Lol.
Uh im not sure if you like raisens but
they say they are really good for iron.
My ma had low iron when she was prego with
me but the iron pill was too strong for
her so she got used to munching on
raisens.
As for the getting on and there being no
recent posts... I know the feeling but
hopefully we all can keep eachother updted
at least in this forum...Maybe we'll start
a trend. Lol.
Neat fact I learned...The doctors and
fellow mothers were telling me that right
about this time...6months she should start
being able to taste the things you taste.
Which is neat...They can hear you when you
speak and recgonize your voice. So start
talking to your tummies ladies...If you
already are keep it up. Hey it cant
hurt.
Question::: if you ladies are up for it I
was wondering about you other moms and
your dreaded weight....Dun duh duh
dun....You dont have to share you weight
if you are worried about it but I was just
thinking about it because when some people
ask me how far along I am they either say
wow your big for 6mon. Or you are small
for 6months.
So I will start and if you are comfortable
following feel free...Besides they say
this is the only time in our llives when
our weight "really" doesnt matter....
Normally I weigh in @ 130....And I am so
far @ 156....I dont look chubby its really
on in my tummy. My face and arms are
about normal sooo ...
You can just mention the # of lbs you
gained if you would like...Or not ...Thats
ok too.
So lets keep the chat going ladies....
And again congrats to you all....

Good evening ladies,
i had to retake my glucose test yeterday
bc my first one came back abnormal. I
had to fast until it was over which was
about noon. Let me tell you, it was not
fun. I not only was stuck with the
needle four times, but I was very hungry
afterward!
Kismit, to answer your question, I have
gained a lillte over 30 lbs. I weigh
around 140 lbs. I don't think it's a big
deal to tell people- we're supposed to
gain weight- if that's what it takes to
have a healthy baby, then pack on the
pounds baby!!! :)
i'm also glad you addressed the iron
issue. I try to eat raisins because I
know they're good for me. I'm really
glad to know they're high in iron!
I'm bad about eating vegetables, so I need
a good source of iron.
My husband and I took a tour of the
maternity ward at the hospital today and
it was really nice. I love how the
hospital is big about the "rooming in"
policy. I definitely want my baby with
me the whole time, esp since it's our
first! Gosh, i'm so excited and
nervous. Btw, I am 32 weeks and 2
days!!! Eight more weeks to go!
Well, congrats and take care!

ok this time. Yea keep up the good work
with the raisens. I have yet to tour the
hospital...Ive still got some time. I
will be 28wks tomorrow (10-17-05). Over
the last week my tummy has really taken
shape...She's gotten round.Lol. I
actually have a break from doc appt for
another 2wks. Then ive got a few lined up
one after the othr from there....Lol.
Yikes you are almost there....Yay....
Hope all are well...Keep us updated

Hi everyone,
hope everyone is feeling ok.
Congratulations kismit on making it to the
28th week! Yay! What aches and pains
have you been experiencing? With me,
sometimes she'll lay weird and I have a
hard time walking and it's quite
uncomfortable. Your belly will
definitely round out and expanddddddd!!
The stretch marks on the sides of my belly
are getting worse and worse. It's a
little scary. I sure hope they go away
afteward. I really hope the glucose
test results come back normal too. My
Dr. Said it was strange that the results
were abnormal and that 3 other patients
within the last month or so had abnormal
when they shouldn't have as well.
Strange.
Has anyone been having mood swings
lately?? I find I get very irritated
now! I mean really irritated- angry is
more like it! Lol. It's not fun.
Keep updating us mommies-to-be!
(mommy2b06- hope you're doing well-
haven't heard from you in a while)

Thanks for the well wishes!!
The baby has been pushing on my left side
for some time now- I think it's her most
comfortable position- for her anyway.
Lol. I've been having period like
cramps for over a week now. It worries
me. I hope it's not a sign of going into
early labor. I would be happy to be
able to carry until at least the 38th or
39th week. I don't think that should be
a problem, seeing as with your first you
tend to carry full term or even after.
Have a good evening everyone! (husband
is home from work-yay!)
p.S. My heartburn has returned with a
vengeance. :(

Ctrule-- yes im excited to make it another
wek with her being healthy. As for my
aches and pains...Hmm...Its definately
getting tougher to get in and out of bed
or to even get off the couch.Lol. Mainly
at nite or early in the morning...Those
are the toughest of times. I havent
really been achy...Maybe my back at
times... I could use a foot and leg
massage though...Cant we all...!
Sleeping is getting more tricky. She is
super active at nite and early morning.
Not too mention I keep wanting to switch
sides when im sleeping and everytime I do
my pelvic bone pops so loud its crazy.Lol.
I sear im fallin apart.Lol
have you been rubbing cream or lotion on
your belly for the stretch marks? Im sure
if we're meant to get em we will but it
doesnt hurt to lessen the effects. Ive
been using a shea butter creme that I
found at the store. It all natural will
lots of vitamins and moisturizers. I rub
it on my tummy and around my chest ...Like
I said it cant hurt. The more often you
can do it the healthyier your skin will
be. Just my opinion though.
I know what you mean when you say shes
crawled up in waht seems to be her
favorite spot. I think we all are
experiencing our little ones cozy
spot...Meaning cozy for them of course.
Well thats enough about me and my blessed
baby girl....
Hope you all are doing well in your
pregnancies....

Hello kismit and everyone.
(kismit, I feel like this our forum since
we talk the most- lol)
i totally know what you mean about having
trouble getting in and out of bed and off
the couch! It gets worse. My husband
has to help me up all the time and he puts
my socks and shoes on for me too. I
told my friend how when i'm laying in bed,
I have to get a rolling start by rocking
from side to side to get up! Lol!!
Yes, sleep does become a tricky situation.
I, like you, toss and turn from side to
side a lot during the night too. I only
get up once though during the night to
pee. I just hope by the time I hit the
35th week and on I don't have to get up
4-5 times a night as i'm told.
Lol about your pubic bone popping!!!
I use palmer's shea butter for my stretch
marks. I've been good about using it
consistently for over three months now!!
I'm starting to run out so i'll have to
get more soon. I agree with you, it
does not hurt to use it! I haven't
thought to use it on my chest though-
thanks for the tip!!! :)
have a good day,
ctrule :)

Hi bel_21,
i don't think a baby needs a middle name,
but my husband, now he disagrees. I
really like the names, vivian, malia,
and madison. Did you plan on finding
out the sex of your baby? Good luck and
congrats!
