Hello,

i am not sure if anyone can help me or maybe has the same symptoms. I am feeling a sharp bloating pain under my right rib cage. It started when I was 21 and has progressed over the years. ( I am now 30). Just like expected, my Dr. Blew it off as being ibs because I have been having constipation and diarrea. The symtoms get so bad sometimes that I have shortness of breath. It doesn't just happen when I eat. I can wake up in the morning and have this pain. Last year, I was diagnosed with a fatty liver, which I also found out is another b.S. Diagnosis.
Does anyone out there have any clue what my issue may be ?

Thanks to everyone that takes the time to read this, any help is greatly appreciated..

Frank

Hey There.
I was having the same pains as you did--but I had dull pain under the left rib/abdominal tenderness, and constipation on and off--had endoscopy, colonoscopy, abdominal ct scan/blood tests (all came out normal) my doctor diagnosed it as ibs.

I am 48 and have been having same right side pain with episodes now becoming more severe. I have had endoscopy and several other tests all coming back normal. However they are saying I have a fatty liver and pancreas. A testing Dr. @ Univercity of Michigan told me before he even tested me with a endoscopy ultra sound (UEW) I believe is what the test was called that my problem was due to being obease and felt this test unneeded. I informed him that I have had this pain for far more skinny years then fat. I still don't know why I have this pain. I feel like something is there yet every test keeps coming back normal. This started in my mid 20's and just continues to get worse with each new episode. I am tired of hurting and feeling this pressure, something is there and yet no one can find it!

I am 19 and I have been having the same stomach pains pretty much my whole life. I rarely have a day that goes by where I feel okay. Ive pretty much just been stuck with that naucious feeling and have always suffered from constipation thats only lead me to go about twice a week since i can remember. Its horrible and my doctors have never found anything wrong. Ive had endoscopys and tons of other tests through my life and still, nothing. Im so tired of not knowing and fed up with having to be miserable everyday. I am worried that this mystery mess will turn into something really severe..
