Can Fever Affect Basal Temp Reading?
Posted: 10-10-05 21:46pm

Hi!

Anyone could help me.

I am having flu and slight fever and am charting my basal temp for the first time in my life. Today I am on day 13 of my cycle and since yesterday I am having very slight fever. I also realised my basal temp has rised today compared to yesterday's reading taken at around the same time. I saw a family doc for flu medicine last night and took a dose last night. Felt better after an hour of sleep/rest. I also had sex twice with my husband last night. This morning feeling alittle better but just lethargic/alittle weak.

So I was wondering whether I am going to ovulate or is it the slight fever causing the rise in the basal temp?

I am on a 32 day cycle and my last period was 29 september. So what are my chances of becoming pregnant? What should I do? Continue sex everyday or what??

Pls provide tips and ideas... I really want my baby nos. 1 to arrive soon.

Thanks in advance!
