Hello I was wondering if there was a birth control pill that works better for women with endometriosis. When I first found out I had endo I started taking orthro-tri cyclen lo. It was helping with the pain and some nausea I was having but it made me feel really fatigued so after about 2-3 months I got off it. My doctor said that feeling fatigued isn't a normal side effect from the birth control pill and never suggested trying another birth control pill, he basically said my symptoms were not from my endo. When I got off it though I did start to feel better with my fatigue and started using natural herbs to balance my hormones. They say women with endo have an excess of estrogen. I'm getting married sept of 06 and don't want to have kids right away I was wondering if maybe a birth control pill with just progestrin in would be better for me. If anyone has suggestions or have endo I would like to know what birth control works for them with little side effects. I would greatly appreciate this info thanks.
