Pimples On Butt??? Please Read!! Posted: 10-09-05 20:13pm
Here's a summary of my symptoms:
in late august-- I woke up to find two
itchy red bumps that seemed like bug bites
on my buttocks, one on each cheek. They
were really itchy and I figured they'd go
away on there own. But it seemed like
every other day or so i'd develop 2 more,
until I had about 6 of them, mainly on one
buttcheek. They were so itchy and
annoying. They went away within a week or
so, and now they're scars.
A few weeks ago, I noticed a tiny red dot
on my buttocks, which didn't seem like a
big deal since I get them often. However
the next morning, it was larger, filled
with puss...And it burst. Now once in a
while i'll notice that a tiny red dot will
do the same thing--it'll grow ( kind of
like a really mature pimple, and heal).
This morning I noticed one, put neosporin
on it and after a few hours, the size was
reduced to almost nothing...Like the red
dot it began as.
I thought I might have herpes and got
everything checked out and got a blood
test, and the results came back as
negative.
There are some factors:
a) my roommate has a cat who goes
outside..So it might be fleas??
B) but why then, is it only on my
buttocks?
Does anyone know what this might sound
like? Sometimes ( usually each week or
so) I get a tiny pimple, which grows and
practically dissappears in a day. And
there's not pain....
Sooooooooo...If you know anything or have
similar symptoms let me know!!

My sister gets the same thing also. She
never used to get pimples on her bottom
until she started exercising more. She
works out on a bike so the excess sweat
was clogging her pores. She told me if
she leaves them alone and doesn't touch
them at all they go away on there
own....Hope this helps.
