Iv just had a full hysterectomy. 3wks ago- I have a painful/burning cramp after iv been for a wee- I was put on antibiotics after operation incase I had infection.
Since then iv had another sample which showed negative.Should I go back or do I need to give myself more time to heal? Has anyone had pain after urinating since hysterectomy. Im 34 yrs of age.
Thanks

Pain
I also had a full hyst.
Did you have a vaginal hyst?
I ask this because I had major complications with mine.
I won't get into all of that right now with you.
But maybe your bladder was nicked during the surgery!!!
Go see a urinologist. > i'm sure the spelling isn't correct but, I hope you got my point!
Good luck!!!!
Sincerely, rachel 27yr.

Hi ya
i had an abdominal. I spoke to the hospital and they said its not normal. Great. I am going back to my gp this wk with another urine sample-you feel like you are going round in circles again.I feel like my bladder drops to the bottom of me after I have emptied my bladder.
Im sorry you have had major complications.
I hope you have recovered and feel better. I did ask wether I need to c a urinologist-but they advised me not yet o thanks for that because I wouldnt have asked the question otherwise.
Take care

Painful Urination After Hysterectomy
I had a vaginal hyst. 4 and 1/2 months ago. Since then, urinating has been uncomfortable and freqeunt. I have to get up in the night at least once to go, and during the day I go an average of 8-10 times, and if I wait it hurts. I hope that this improves. I wonder if it's from the catheter or the surgery.
