If anyone else has ever had this happen to them or have heard of this please let me know. I about a year ago had a really bad muscle pull and had went through blood work, x-rays and mri. I could hardly walk but it all came back that thats all it was, was a pulled muscles and she gave me ibuprofen to help with the pain. I fould out that i'm alerigic to that medican but since then it started out in the middle of my back to the right side slightly of my vertebrae I had a very small lump. I questioned the Dr. About it a couple of times and said it was probably from my pulled muscle. Then I noticed in about june that it may be growing. I had a chiropratictor appt. The next day so I ask him if he felt as though it was growing, he thought so as well and advised me that I need to get if checked out right away. I waited about a month before going in and she (the Dr.) agreed that it has grown. So she ordered blood work and a ct scan to be done. As I just found out this past thursday (10-6-05) that my ct scan came back fine everything normal however my blood work showed that my liver levels were elevated and she believes I have a tumor. She reran the blood work and I will get those results on tues. She informed me though that she has to refer me to a surgan. She did say what kind of tumor she thought it was but I don't remember. Almost everything I read inregards to tumors with the liver it is cancer. Is this true? Or as other people have told me that they have heard of other people having tumors on there backs and it has been cause from chemicals that was used on farms to kill weeds and I was raised on a farm. The Dr. Has nothing from test results leading to this of it being a tumor just her experainceand the feel of it. If any one has any feed back on this so I don't worry so much please respond. Jdb
