I don't know if I need to see a doctor or what! Everyone tells me i'm to young to develop diabetes, but my symptons have me worried. I'm thirsty all the time, i'm tired, and go to the bathroom all the time. And recently have started wetting the bed Embarassed . Maybe I need to see a doctor or maybe i'm just exausted from working, raising three kids, and keeping up our home Confused

First of all, no one is ever too young to have diabetes, there are some as young as 2 years old that have developed it. I t crosses all ages and races. I don,t mean to worry you but I expect you,re worried already. Just in my opinion, you do have diabetes, but please go for blood tests as soon as you can, those were the classic symptoms I had before being diagnosed with it 4 years ago and I also lost a tremendous amount of weight. Don,t let it go on for much longer, if you do have diabetes the longer you wait to get diagnosed the longer your body has to start developing the complications that go along with it. A simple blood test by a reputable doctor will give you the answer, please go as soon as you can, your family depends on you, good luck, sharon

Like sharon said you are not too young to develop diabetes. There are two types of diabetes type 1 and type 2.

Type 1 usually affects younger people, although recently children are being diagnosed with type 2. Also there are people in their twenty’s or thirty’s that can be a type 1 diabetic. I agree with sharon, go and see you’re doctor and get some tests done. I know I can't say not to be scared because I was when I was first diagnosed. But just take things one-step at a time. Best of luck to you, kelly
