I had my daughter almost 6 months ago and had what I assumed was just indigestion now I am frequently having pains on my right side the pain is so severe sometimes it travels across my whole back width. The pain is directly next to my breast about as wide as my hand and my back pain is usually at the same level as my breast. I'm actually awake right now due to some pain. It always seems to happen at night while I am sleeping or as I am going to bed.

Anyone have any advise or known causes? My temp is usually about 99.7 which isnt odd for me. I have no nausea but sometimes I get a gassy feeling in my stomach.

God, i'm so exausted please give me some insight before I scream!!!!

It could be gallbladder. Request an ultasound and hida scan from your primary physician

I recently had my gallbladder removed, and I had no idea what the pain was from when it first started, it would always be in the middle of the night and usually after a high-fat meal. The meal that sent me to the hospital - fried chicken! Anything fried killed me! The pain was located under my right breast and felt kinda like someone was standing on my chest and it was kinda hard to breathe. I didn't have back pain but its not uncommon with gallstones. You need to setup an ultrasound to determine if gallstones are present in your gallbladder. If gallstones are the case surgery is the cure. According to doctors and my internet research, your gallbladder is used to break down bile in your diet, but you can fully function without it. And if you do have it out you may need to limit fat in your diet in the future. Your body may not be able to properly digest certain foods ike it could before. Although your doctor will tell you that you can resume your normal diet...Be cautious! Good luck!
