Today, I was diagnosed with a possibility of coats' disease, i'm a 35 year old male and everything that I find on it says that it occurs primarily in young males and adolescents. Here is what the doc found: in the far periphery i.E. When I look up and to the right at the edge of what he can see (or take a picture of) is a white cloud with a couple blood vessels that are broken. The doc went looking to see what the problem was when I failed the "look straight ahead and tell me how many fingers you see" test with only my right eye when the technician held her fingers in front of my left eye area. Any ideas? I'm at a loss on this, because I can't find anything on it on the net, for someone my age anyway. Thanks.
