Hello again ladies...

I am starting a 50mg dose of clomid next cycle, and I just wanted any information someone who has been through that wants to share. I have endometriosis, and I had a laparoscopy in july of this year to remove it, and haven't conceived yet. I have been in alot of pain this last cycle, which makes me think the endo is growing back, so my gyn decided it was time to get serious about getting pregnant now while I (hopefully) still can. I just want someone who has been there to sort of show me the ropes...Thanks and good luck everyone :)

My sister used it and got pregnant with it. What it does is induce ovulation in women who don't necessarily ovulate each month. Usually start taking it on day 5 (day 1 being first day of period) and take it once a day for 5 days....But follow your doc's instructions on how to take it. Have sex every day once you are done the medication for at least a week to make sure there is lots of sperm waiting for a released egg. Good luck and have fun trying!! By the way, if you've just had the surgery this summer, you are at prime time to get preggo

Hi there, I used clomid to concieve my daughter age 3. I was on 50mg for 3mths, my dose was upped to 100mg & within 6mths I had fallen.
I was put back onto 50mg 6mths ago-nothing.I have recently just had my ovaries drilled to release eggs & when my next cycle starts will be back on 100mg of clomid.
Lesliepei is right - take on 5th day of cycle for 5 days.
You may get some side effects- bloating, headaches, mood swings but nothing to worry about, also try to take it at the same time - I take mine of a night just incase of side effects. - hope this has helped you- goodluck.
