Okay I just turned 18 and I have been with
the same guy since I was 14 years old. I
have only been with one other guy(when me
and my bf were broken up)...Anyways me and
boyfriend have been sleeping together for
almost 4 years now, he is 22 and already
has a kid with another girl..(happened
when we were broken up)...Well out of all
these years we have only used a condom
once. And we have sex like everyday. And
he cums every time!!! But I am not
pregnant...And just recently we found out
the we have chylmydia...Very currable
thank god! But I just want to know if
there is something wrong me did the std to
do something to me or what...I mean 4
years of unprotected sex and never once
was I pregnant...But when it comes time
for my periods they are extremely heavy.
I am not ready for kids yet but this is
concerning me for future planning...I
really want kids in the future and I am
scared that I cant have any...So does
anyone have any idea what is going with
me..Thanks..-princess18 from arizona 8)

I believe chlamydia can cause some
problems if it goes undetected for a long
period of time. It often causes piv
pelvic inflammatory disease the doctor can
check for that. Maybe you should ask your
Dr. To perform the tests necessary for
that. I don't know much more about that,
but I hope this helps.

Well it depends how long you had it. Not
only because you found out recently means
you just got it (something to think about)
I would go to the doctor a.S.A.P they will
put you in a treatment, another thing is
that if you dont want to become pregnant,
I would strongly advise you to use birth
control please.
Good luck.

Girl, listen up. Don't assume that just
because you haven't gotten pregnant yet
that you won't the next time you have
sex!!!!! As you've stated, you are not
wanting kids yet. That's good that you
are clear on that. Let me tell you from
experience, being pregnant when you are
not 100% sure that is what you/father of
baby want, is not an experience you would
want. Having a baby is wonderful, the
best thing in the world if you are ready
and that is your wish. Otherwise, why
not save yourself from the pain and misery
and either completely stop having sex with
this boyfriend who is being as
irresponsible as you are, or refrain from
any sex at all until you are on birth
control. Taking a small pill a day can
save you from major problems. Stand up
for yourself!! Guys are much more likely
to be irresponsible because they can't get
pregnant. They are not the ones who have
to go through a pregnancy and then raising
a baby, or a pregnancy and then having to
give your little baby boy or girl up for
adoption, or an abortion. A guy can hit
the road (or just be unsupportive) and you
and your baby suffer the consequences.
My best friend thought she couldn't get
pregnant and when she did, she had an
abortion because the father of the baby
didn't want kids. She was really bummed
out because she loved him and wanted kids.
They broke up over this.
Please think about what you really want
for your life and for your future
children. It is not a good feeling when
you finally have a baby to know you had
their brother and sister killed because
you weren't ready.

That was slightly rude. Abortion to me
of course, I am pro-choice has nothing to
do about killing, if it did, all of these
women that have had abortions and their
are a lot of them would be in prison and
they are not! It is your choice and you
must do what you feel is the right thing
to do for the fetus and yourself and if
you do chose to have an abortion, do not
wait until it is too late and it is
between you and your Dr. Maybe you
might know someone that cannot have
children and they can and will adopt yours
but keep in mind that it is your choice
and you need to first find out if you are
preggars or not. And you may change
your mind and keep it.
Good luck to you with whatever you decide!

My sister-in-law has been trying to get
pregnant now for 8 years, nothing
happening. She has gone to so many
doctors, the last one told her that her
tubes were blocked. But by the time he
opened her up to unblock them, the left
one was so badly damaged that he cud only
repair the right one and told her that she
shud try to get pregnant within the year
other wise the right one will block up
again. She's been trying for the past
three years now since the operation. Only
month she & my brother had to go to
the fertility clinic, their last hope and
option, apart from adoption. The thing is
that over the years she has been going to
different doctors and none of them had the
presence of mind to do that dye test,
where you check to see if the tubes are
actually blocked, they all gave her bogus
drugs to take and told her that it was all
in her mind until it was too late. The
doc who did her op. Said that had the
problem been rectified from day one she
wud be fine all now {sigh} sometimes I
have to wonder about doctors myself. But
I guess they are only human.
Anyway, it's just best to get to your
ob/gyn and have him check you out, see if
your tubes cud be blocked, you never know.
It's quite painless and it's worth a try,
so go for it, and you cud also ask about
the chlamydia which I know does cause
damage once left untreated for any length
of time. So you need to get busy, you are
still young, you have time on your side.

Hey everyone thanks for all the
input...Everything makes me so nervous..I
mean yeah I am young and I really wanna
get this problem taken care of before the
time comes when I do want kids!! And yeah
doctors do make me think every once in
awhile last year I went the doctor and
they said I phenomonia and then 2 weeks
later I went back and he said it was just
strep throat!!! Doctors do need to get
their caca straight and thats why I am
always terrified about going to them...I
mean going to gyno last month was hard
especially cause it was my first time
ever!!! And now I am scared about going
asking them to check to see if I can even
have kids..I mean I wouldnt mind adopting
but just knowing that I created a life
would mean so much more to me....But
anyways thanks again everyone for your
advice...Of there is anymore just let me
know...Thanks a bunch.

Hey just wanted you to know you sound
right on and I was not trying to be rude
as another writer said I was being.
Pro-choice people always thinking they are
the only ones who are politically (and
morally) correct and I was just trying to
show you a point of view you might not
have considered yet.
First of all, look up the word abortion in
the dictionary. No, i'll save you the
time. It is defined as "infanticide."
if people went around calling abortion
that, they might not "feel"as good about
it. Just because we have the freedom to
do something, doesn't mean it's right.
