Bad breath can often be the first sign of a disease. But how do doctors define bad breath and what are the major causes of bad breath?...
Did you know that bad breath can be associated with sinus problems? Learn more about the common (and unfamiliar) causes of bad breath here....
Did you know that symptoms of bad breath depend upon medical cause? More here on major causes and related symptoms of bad breath...plus when to seek help....

last week, I had a quadrant filling session and then went back the next day cause the filling was too high but the pain/sensivity and throbbing is very bad; my dentist never explained my choices and never told me that this could happen; today they told me I might need a root canal but I am terrified to end up with more pain than I already have; I did not have pain until I did this; is there help?

This would depend on a few things. Were these fillings replacement fillings or new ones? Was there decay present, or were you just getting silver amalgams replaced with composite fillings? Did the dentist tell you when he was doing them that they were deep, and that you might develop some sensitivity? Give you any warnings at all?

Unfortunately, there is no way to know when a tooth has a nerve that might be upset the very next time the tooth is worked on. If your tooth (or teeth) is (are) getting any better at all, maybe they have a chance. If not, you might be headed for a root canal. Just keep in mind that this can make for much less pain, not more. Root canals can really be your friend.
