Q: Odd Question

I so hope that some one in this forum can help me out. Is it normal for your vagina to look as if it is covered in pimples? I can actually sqeeze them and a puss like substance comes out. I have seen a gyno I didn't ask about them, but she didn't say anything either. So... Is it normal?

Ingrown Hairs, Not Pimples
It's common for this to happen down there especially if you shave. They're actually ingrown hairs, so you probably shouldn't pop them.

If you had them when you visited your gyno i'm sure she would have saw them and said something if they were something else. I wouldn't be too worried but if you are you could always get checked out just to be safe.

No these aren't ingrown hairs, I know that those are. These aren't even where hair grows or where I shave. They are like all along the inside of my vaginal lips, around my clitoris, if it wasn't so tacky and gross to do so i'd send you a picture. It really looks like i'm just broken out with pimples. Like I said I don't really worry about it, but it's sort of bothering as far as appearances go. I mean none of the men I have ever been with have mentioned it being odd, or nasty looking, but to me it is.

Oh and I know it's not an std b/c i've been checked and i'm free and clear of those. I just wondered if it was normal or if i'm just a freak because I have vaginal acne.

Pimples Down There
U should definitely ask your doc about those, maybe you have an allergy to something?

I was allergic to chlorine for a short while when I was younger; as has been stated, we females are pretty darn sensitive down there. But if it worries you, I would go get checked out just to quell your fears :)

That doesn't sound bad really. Like you said, your very conscious of it. I've kinda had something like that but what one of you said, it was ingrown hairs due from shaving. Your free from it being a std or anything else so that's ok. Damn our womeny parts! Lol
i'm sure your doctor could prescribe something surely.

If you're sure your doc saw it, it's probably nothing serious or she probably would've said something, right?

It could be some irritation from something- like fragranced products (bath products or tampons or even fragranced toilet paper or lube) or wearing nylon underwear, or a condom, or if you're using soap (wash with water or really gentle not antibacterial soap on your external area)

Hope that helps!
