Can regular doctors diagnose vaginal infections such as a yeast infection of do only gynecologists do this?
How do they diagnose this infection?

Regular doctors can usually diagnose yeast and bacterial infections. For bacterial infections they just take a swab and test it. They probably do the same for yeast but I am not sure.
