Relief From Itching
I feel your pain. Or at least I used to years ago. I tried all kinds of ointments with no luck. Then I tried ky jelly. My doctor said it was dangerous to use oil base lubricants in this area. They can trap bacteria and make it worse. Ky is water based. It only took a few applications and I was relieved.

As I grow older I am finding out that if I can't powder it to feel better I lube it up with some ky jelly. These are great, cheap remedies that are holding me together. I am beginning to think the human body was not inteded to live past 40, at least not without powder and ky.

I hope this helps.

Good luck.

You may also want to try cortizome(sp?) cream. That has worked great for me and states on the tube for "anal itch".
