I know that they last 5 years, are suppose to be really good but they can fall out, you could bleed a lot and cramp really bad when its your time of the month, and you have to check the strings on it each month I have had my since the 29 and things have been good I just have to wait till my period comes to see how it has effected me.

This might sound stupid but the only reason I would get one would be so I wouldn't have to get on the pill and gain weight. But I hear now that they put all the same hormones and things in the iud as they do in the pill. Are you gaining any weight from it?? Does it affect sex in any way??

Thanks,
teresa
