Today would have been my cousin's 17th birthday and it's really hitting home hard. I miss her so much. I seriously don't know how im going to go the rest of my life never talking to or seeing her again. She didn't deserve to go, it wasn't even her fault. Guys this is so hard, I apologize for putting a damper on everybody's morning, but I had to get it out. Crying or Very sad

Well instead of being so down, do what you would have done if your cousin was there with you. Get a little cake and candles, maybe go shopping, you know kind of celebrate her life and dont mourn it. Shes watching you anyways.

Thanks for being so understanding guys, it means a lot...I know she's looking down on me, especially today, but it's so hard being with her spiritually, rather than physically...I think im gonna talk to my parents and see if we can all go out to eat tonight, more in a respectful manner ya know? And to talk about everything and just let it all out...I think it would be a good idea for all of us...Thanks for the suggestion nikki, and the comforting words liz.

Jennifer,
i completely understand what you're going through. Before my cousin passed the doctors told my aunt and uncle that they had the decision to keep her on life support or let her go. My first response was to keep her on, even if she didn't have her memory, or didn't have her voice, we would still be able to see her, and hug her, and hold her. But then I thought, do we really want to keep her in pain for the satisfaction of her physically being there? I knew deep inside that the best thing to do was to let her go, but before my aunt and uncle had to make that decision, she left us on her own. It has been the hardest thing ive ever had to deal with, and I have such empathy for people like yourself jen, who lose someone so close to them, because ive experienced it first hand. The holidays are going to be so painful, and today, her birthday is just the tip of the iceberg. I pray everyday for the strength to get me through til tomorrow, because I feel like I can't do it on my own. I'll keep you in my prayers jen, and the rest of you who have and will go through such grief.
Much love to everyone,
vanessa

My nan died april 14th this year. She was 84 & she'd been a teacher til she was about 65.Her & my grandad (we actually dont call them nan & grandad-we call them the irish names for them instead) met at university when he was training 2 b a priest! He quit (obviosuly!) they wouldve been married 60yrs last month & were gonna have a big party on that day.We had 2 go over 2 ireland the nite she died & I saw her laid out in the house.I'd never seen any1 laid out b4 & I didnt think it'd effect me the way it did.Til this day,i still c her lying there.I wanted her 2 climb out & come & hug me cos we only got 2 c her once a year when we stayed there 3 three weeks on holiday.Me,my mom & my sis stayed in the house that nite whilst my nan was lying in the room opposite. For the next few weeks,i had terrible nightmares where I saw her and I hated it cos I loved her so much & didnt want 2 remember her that way.Although my nan had a long & happy life,it doesnt take the grief away.We all know what its like 2 loose some1 u love & its very hard. She was my god-mother & she'll never c me graduate, get married or have babies.Well, she will but it'll b from heaven.I hope she's happy up there & I hope she's met elvis and princess diana!
Thinking of u all.....

Its Hard Losing Someone..
I am so lucky I have never lost a family member but I did lose a friend..This is what happened...
Ok at my old school there was a fight and the brown people lost. And they wanted to get revange so they called their counsins from another school and they came and after school there was to be a big fight but instead the people cousins ran ray over. They always hit two other people but they didnt die. They were going back and worth in the car with him under neath it. When they stop and drove away you couldnt see his face. It wasnt there. It was so gross one of the teachters started to giving him mouth to mouth but it didnt work he died..And the sadest part is 2 weeks later his girlfriend gave birth to their baby girl. I couldnt belive how stupied people can be!!!! And those guys who ran him over only got 12 months house arrest. They killed someone and they dont even go to jail for it?!!?!?!? Well thats my story..

Hey girls,
i was surfing the web yesterday and came across the news channel for where my cousin lived. I looked her name up and the news report video from the accident popped up....I watched it and couldn't help but break down...It shows the car that she was in, it was completely totaled, and the intersection(i passed by it on my way down to nc the day after it happened) and it has her picture...I watched it about 5 times and each time I was in hysterics. I don't know why I do that to myself, but it's almost like I don't believe it...I'm watching it again right now and don't really know what to say, it leaves me speechless. And to top it off, I found out on thanksgiving that the problem(sry) who killed her is getting 1 yr license suspension and 2 months community service at the most! I am completely disgusted and outraged...That kid who did this better pray to god that I never find him, because if I do, I wont let go!!! Mad
