Q: What's the Deal With Nardil?

I was really excited when I started taking this med. I had researched it. I came up with statements that it was up to 85% of the time effective in social anxiety cases, as compared to the 15-45% of paxil and other ssri. Since paxil worked partially, I was really thinking that nardil would be great. But, so far pretty much nothing. It makes me perhaps a little more talkative, possibly. But, I don't feel relaxed. I still even feel depressed and social anxiety is still terrible.

I started out on 15 mg 5 weeks ago. I bumped that up to 30 mg then to 45 mg then to 60 mg, with a week in between each stage. I don't expect the full effects of the med yet at this point, but so far there are no definite effects! I'm really bummed out about this.

I guess I should give it a little more time. Then the next resort is klonopin. I need to be able to relax. At least sometimes. I can't keep this up forever.

Peace,
jake
