Hello everyone
a couple of days ago I was stung by a wasp. I went to the hospital and this is what I was told to do:
take one tablet (reactine) and then benadryl. Before taking the benadryl, the swollen area on my face was almost all gone. I took 3 benadryl (25 mg each) with in an 12 hour span. I have a swollen face and eye, worse than ever since starting the benadryl. I went to the hospital again this morning and they gave me a shot of benadryl and told me to continue taking the benadryl tabs. Never once did they specify how much of this to take or for how long. I really sensed that neither of these doctors knew what they were telling me.
Would anyone have any input on this? I am going to go to another hospital or clinic on monday and get another opinion.
Thanks for "listening."
