I just got my cholesterol results and my everything was in the normal eange except for my ldl. It was abnormal on the low side-only 40! I can't talk to my doc. For 2 weeks because he's on vacation. I haven't been able to find much about it on the internet except for that it could be the sign of a serious medical problem. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks!

Some research suggests that abnormally low LDL levels are linked with Parkinson's disease and an increased risk of cancer. I hope everything's okay.

Low LDL cholesterol are considered an indicator of good cardiovascular health. Earlier studies have found intriguing correlations between Parkinson's disease.
People with Parkinson's disease have a lower occurrence of heart disease and stroke than people who do not have the problem.
