Q: Left Shoulder, Neck Pain

A few days ago I woke up and could barely move my neck. It radiates to my shoulder blade and left arm. I also have been getting facial pain on left side.
It's horrible. I spend at least 2 hours a night trying to get to sleep. It doesn't matter what position I sleep in, it still hurts. Saw the chiro today. I'm not sure if he understands how bad the pain is. Sometimes it feels as if my left arm is going to go numb. Is this some sort of pinched nerve? I go back tomorrow for another adjustment. Any ideas?

I just read your post which sounded vary similar to the symptoms I am having caused from an auto accident. I do not have facial pain but my shoulder, arm and hand are painful with numbness in the hand. I was told this is a pinched nerve at the c-6 to c-7 vertabra. I also had a bone chip removed from that area causing some of the problem. Did your chiro take any x-ray's? If not, you may want to get some, they may show the cause of your pain. I had to get a second cat scan to revial my problems. I don't want to scare you, but the more you know, the better off you'll feel. Steevo
