Im 19 and I just found out im pregnant. Apparently its a tubular pregnancy and its about a month so far ... Its real painful and im finding it kind of hard to find some solid informaiton about it. I know it needs to be removed but I was wondering if any of you knew anything about how they can take it out and put it in the right place ??? - is it is safe ... Or not ~ like would the baby survive and be healthy or would their be further complications ?

Tubular Pregnancy
Hello, my name is nikki and I have went through a tubular pregnancy also known as an ectopic pregnancy. Unfortunalety, mine was not successful and I was in excrutiating pain for several hours. I have only one kind of advice to all who have to go through this painful experience....Go to a doctor asap. Get medical treatment soon .. Very soon.. Mine had started out with me having my period then getting off of it then a couple of days later restarting.. Thats when the pain started! It felt like menstrating cramps but much severe. And also only one side since the egg was trapped in my right tube I felt pain on only that side but it also felt like it was shooting straight to my back. I was rushed to the doctors after my mother found me lying on the living room floor passed out from the pain I was experiencing. Unexplainable pain once the egg burst through my tube . When I did finally reach the hospital and they found out what was going on with me, I was in shock considering I was on birth control at the time. They also informed me that I had to have emergency surgery because the outer lining of my stomach was filling with blood and that I had a very good chance of bleeding to death if I did not have the tube removed promptly. It was done and I wont lie the surgery left me in pain and a scar that you can barely tell but still a scar that reminds me off it. But at least im alive to see .. So I give fair warning to all who is experiencing such a thing to go through,, seek medical attention if its as severe as mine was..

You have been diagnosed with a tubular pregnancy and haven't had surgery yet?

survive what? if you dont get operated can die ! the egg will burst in your tube and you can have internal bleeding. Also, if you dont do this on time and then decide to get help you may run the risk of losing you tube !!

geesh some people are pathetic!

Brown Suga, are you asking if there is a way to move the egg from the fallopian tube and still have the fetus be viable?

If that's your question the answer is no. You need to have the surgery now to save your tube and your life, but you will not be able to remain pregnant. I'm sorry, this must be awful for you. You'll be in my thoughts. Good luck at the doctor, please go asap.

This poster and her question cannot be real, either.

How could you find out that you were:

A) pregnant
B) it was tubular/ectopic

and NOT KNOW anything else??? How are we supposed to believe that a doctor would tell you just those 2 things and then let you leave the his/her office???

i went through an ectopic pregnancy and the second that i found out after being rushed to my doctor they did emergency surgery within 30 minutes. you can die. no doctor with a real degree would send you home after that. i asked the same question can you save my baby but there is no way to move it succesfully from spot to another. the first thing you need to do is your research because for people who have truely went through this its traumatizing and life changing.

saving baby in tubular pregnancy
for some people it is aginst their bible trained conscience to abort the baby even if it mean death for mom. i had my tubes tied recently and constantly worry about this topic. if it was me i would be asking the same thing and would try to find an alternative. dont be so quick to condem.
