I Have a Question About This Type of Birthcontrol
I am on this birthcontrol as well. I have noticed I eat way more, and have read about girls gaining more weight, and having sore/larger breast.

Does anyone get sick off of the birthcontrol? I was put on this to help regulate my hormones because I had a cyst rupture on my ovaries. I take it right before I go to bed and wake up sick, gagging sick. I have felt like this from day one on it. I just feel terrible. :?

Just wondering if anyone else has moodswings, eating more, horrible headaches, feeling sick, or anything else?

Thanks for reading

Ortho Tri-cyclen
I too have mood swings while on the pill usually only on the placebo week. At times I was crying when there really was no reason to be upset. During my first two packs of pills my breasts were quite sensitive, but that went away by the time I went on the third pack. My breasts, although I wish they would have not grown they just had been tender in the beginning. I have had a few headaches though and those are horrible. I usually get them around the placebo week.

try taking the pill with food; your body might just be reacting bad to the horomones; you might want to tell your doctor about these symptoms and seek an alternate pill, or system.

I eat before I take the medicine. I just really makes me sick, I have called the doctors office and talked to the main nurse and she told me this was the best time to take it. After eating of course. I have been on several different types of medicine's that say on the label to eat before taking.

I go back to the doctor tomorrow, I think I have another cyst forming on my left ovary :x so the doctor is probably going to run some test's and change the birthcontrol again.

But I am eating like a pig and sick as hell when I go to sleep and god forbid me waking up in the middle of the night I feel like I am really sick and going to throw-up, my stomach has sharp pains and my rib cage. I was put on birthcontrol to help regulate my hormones to try and keep cyst's from forming on my ovaries.

But I don't think it is helping :x

I've just recently started taking it. I started last sunday. So far I haven't had any problems but I was taking an antibiotic for the 1st 5 days as well so that's probably why I havent been able to tell yet.

One of my friends had a cyst on her ovarie she got it removed then started taking a medication that jsut simply contoled the amount of hormones her body put out. Maybe thats where youa re headed? And i'm sorry you feel like from taking the pill :(
