Hey just before you start making up a diet plan just want to tell you a few things first. I have been to see a dietation and what she told me was so true because she showed me people who were eating what she told them to eat and they actually had lost weight.
She told me that in order to keep your metabolism at a good rate you should eat every 3 hours. She said you can have a big breakfast because in the morning your body has no engry as it has all be used up during the time you sleep, regenerating your skin, hair, eyes etc so your body needs basic fuel to get through the day, so you can have a big breakfast.
Then have a lunch and a dinner but between that every 3 hours you should eat, it can be fruit or nuts or something healthy and drink plenty of water.
That way your metabolism speeds up, you burn more cals at a faster weight and you lose weight a healthy way. Also some light exercise is ok but you have just had a baby so I think walking would be fine or even swiming but try not to put your body under too much pressure because it has been through alot already.
With this eating plan you will have a lot of engry as well which will help you get through the day with coping with a young baby.
When you do feel low in yourself it does affect alot of things and if you could explain to your husband that you are feeling down because of the weight you gained when you were pregant and maybe the two of you could do somthing together.
Like the two of you could go for a walk togehter and catch up on both of your days because people tend to forget about the marrage once a baby comes along so to get to know one another as mother and father is good but its also important that you don't forget about yourselves as well.
Take time out for the both of you and walking would be a good idea because you would feel healtier and happy and you would be having time with your husband.
I hope that helps. Let us know how you are doing.
Take care!
