I take adderall and don't get any of the side effects he lists.

I know adderall is used to treat over-eating, but I don't think it would help bulimia... It would probably just make things worse, maybe make you anorexic.

There is a drug that's effective in treating anorexia and bulimia, but the dea is currently busting down the doors of everyone providing it, even though it's less addictive than adderall and almost everything else you can get prescribed.

I totally disagree...I have been bulimic for over 15 years! Been to plenty of treatments centers including Renfrew. I take Adderall and have been since Nov. All I can say is it has been a total blessing for me. I no longer use my bulimia, am of normal weight 132 and I am 5'8", I force myself to eat daily...but I DO NOT have the overwhelming obsession to binge and purge. Adderall has been a blessing in my life!!
