Ya can get pregnent just befor you start and after
so its very possible
my mate did after her periods

If you know how long your cycle is, you are supposed to ovulate 14 days prior to that, and sperm can live up to 3 days, so you do the math according to your cycle.

Usually your more likely to concieve just before and right after your period but it's different with every women and just depends when you obvulate

Almost all women only ovulate once a month. It is normally 14 days prior to the first day of your period.

I forgot to add that the egg only lived for 24 hrs, so total a month you have a window of 6 days to concieve. Sperm live for 72 hrs. Very small window out of 30-31 days a month. That is why when you are ttc, knowing when you ovulate is important.......
