So I definitly have mono, and i'm
wondering when I can kiss again. Silly I
know, but i've been reading websites that
say 6 months to a year? That's slightly
unrealistic. Once the symptoms go away,
how long until I can kiss again?
And for people that had mono. Is it
necessary to tell people that you have it?
Especially in the upcoming year?

I know I have mono too. And im trying to
find out the same info. Six
months....Like are you serious?!
Is there any way....It could like go away
in 3-4 weeks?

Unfortunately it seems not. You are most
contageous right before your symptoms
start, but can be contageous to others for
quite some time. If you are with people or
a person who has had Mono before, don't
worry about spreading it to them. They
cannot get it after they have had it once.
You become immune to it, like chicken pox.
You can relapse into it, however, soon
after if you dont take it easy for a
while. You need to just take it easy for a
few months.
