thrush is an overgrowth of yeast which is naturally found in the body. I have only had experiences with two kinds. Vaginal and oral. My third baby had an overgrowth of yeast in her mouth at birth and because I was breastfeeding I got it on my nipples. That took an antibiotic to clear up. Vaginal thrush has some pretty obvious signs. You usually have a very thick, white, almost cottage cheese like discharge. Your labia is itchy and red, and if left untreated it will swell and be very uncomfortable. I live in the us and here you can go to the drug store and purchase a vaginal creme. There are several to choose from, monastat 7 is the one that I used when I got it, but that took a whole week to clear it up. Now they have 1 and 3 day over the counter treatments. Oh and no its not dangerous, but if you don't treat it, it will get worse and very unpleasant.

If you have any more questions feel free to pm me. --raina--
