Swollen Neck

Hello all ,

before I ask my question I should maybe explain about myself .. I have m.E so swollen glands arent unusual. I have been ill with m.E for 2 years now and have experienced many minor swollne glands particulary in my neck ... But what I am experiencing now is unreal ..

It started about a week ago when at nights I lay in bed and had the feeling of something starting to or just very minorly swollen in my neck pressing causing me to worry. This was only minor and at nights.

A few days ago I had an awful night with what to me was severe swelling pressing againt my airways (i think). Not sure if it was or just the anxiety. The swelling is mainly on the sides of my neck running from around the adams apple to my jaw. I feel them and I can feel the nodes but also seems very puffy/ swollen but not painful atall. Also under my chin.

Its so weird ... 1 day they are fine.... Cant even feel them and they seem better. Then that evening or the next day ... Back to what they were. 1 day I experieced them swollen all day. Usually just evenings/night.

I read something about lymphatic congestion ?? Anyone heard of this and does it sound simlular? I notice eating any fatty or dairy foods I tend to suffer the next day/ night. So I am on a vegetable/water and detox tea diet but havent seen any improvements yet .. Only been 3 days. (i thought congestion sounded right as I have had very little exercise the past 2 years being ill, eaten alot of fatty no good food the week before this got severe and eating dairy makes it worse.)

if anyone has any ideas... Please let me know ..

Very worried ..
