I think I have mono my syptoms are tierdness, swollen lyphnodes, sore throut, headach, my eyes hurt when there is a sudden bright light, I am sesitive to noise. I went to my doctor he did a blood test called a mono spot. He is also doing another test I dont know wat it is called. The mono spot test came up nagitive. He did an altra sound and I do have an enlarg splin and my red blood count is high. I am also wondering if some of you guys had the same problem and did your guys mono spot turn up nagitive the first time. Just wondering all info gladly taken. :d :(

Sounds like mono... A while back I went to one of those care now places and I too tested negitive for mono but a week later a different doctor tested my and said I had it. Since then i've gone to that doctor for my cbc test that shows mono spot numbers. One test that would be better, would be a test looking for ebstein barr or at least the anti-bodies that show you have it. Ebstein barr is the virus that cause mono and will stay in you the rest of your life, with usually (not always) remains dormant and never causes anymore problems. I've had mono twice and this time i've had it for 10 months
