this is my first pregnancy and I think I
am about 6 weeks. Its scary, obviously
everybody has different experiences, no
two pregnancys are the same but I was
wondering if anybody has had similar
symptoms to me and may be able to explain
if its normal (i am far from normal!) I
have been suffering really bad
bloatedness/trapped wind and a fairly
constant abdominal ache, more than
frequents visits to the loo (which I
believe to be normal). However I was
woken at 3am by a severe abdominal ache,
everything began to hurt, not so much a
pain but but a dull ache in my back,
tummy and even my legs. My stomach felt
really warm and I began to feel really
hot, clammy and nauseous. It passed after
about 10 mins but was a scary
experience.....Any ideas? I have
contacted my gp before this but he advised
I need to wait till about 9 weeks for my
first check up.

You doc is a little goofy if he is telling
you to wait. You might want to consult
with another Dr. In the area. I have
had a m/c and an ectopic. I am currently
about 5 1/2 wks. I think a little
cramping is normal, but for you to pass
out! No that's not normal. If this
happens again, go to the hospital. You
need to have your hcg levels checked and
get a sonogram to rule out an ectopic
pregnancy. I wish you the best of luck,
and that what you experienced was just
normal.
