Does This Make Me a Bad Person?
Posted: 09-21-05 16:26pm

Well i'm 16 and 6weeks and 9days pregnant. And I have yet ot tell my grandma who I live with. But i'm going to the doctors next week because my doctor is going to help me tell her. But the problem is, is when she finds out she is going to want me to tell my mom and her family, and I dont want them to know and I don't want to tell them. From the time my mom had me her and her family never wanted anything to do with me. When I was 7 my moms mom told me that my mom should have got rid of me. And to my mom is was all about the money and that was it. To this day my mom still hates kids and she is 34 years old. And yet I love kids more then anything. But at 13 my mom kicked me out becasue I didn't like her boyfriend who has 2 kids of his own, but she wants him to send them to there mom. Thats why I live with my dads parents who have always loved me. And I have always been my grandpas baby and I know that when he finds out that i'm pregnant it is going to kill him inside because my mom and dad had me at 17. My dad has always wanted me I was always my daddys little girl. But I wont live with him because of his wife and he drinks to much. So I know I am better off here. But anywayz thats why I don't want to tell my mom. Do you think it makes me a bad person because I don't want to. Thanx for reading and taking the time to write back.

I know long but I didn't want to leave anything out on what my point is for not wanting to tell them or have them around my baby.

I don't think it makes you a bad person at all.

No, it doesn't make you a bad person, however, you need to face the music! You had sex, you got pregnant, everyone is going to know sooner or later, it would be best to go ahead and tell them now. Give them to time to hopefully accept the fact that you are going to be adding a "new" addition to the family. You need to accept what has happened by telling your family. Good luck.

6 weeks and 9 days pregnant?

Wouldn't that be 7 weeks and 2 days?

what can I say, smart people think alike :)

to the op - if your doctor is telling you that you're 6 weeks and 9 days pregnant, then perhaps you should search for a new doctor, that knows what he/she is talking about. :)

Too funny my grandpa was doing doctor paperwork only I think in his early 80s and he never wrote or told anyone 6 weeks 9 days even... For goodness sakes. That doctors license needs to be revoked.

i don't even think she knew what she meant.

She said it 3 times, come on. I'm going to laugh, then i'm going to tell her to get a new doctor if he's telling her she's 6 weeks and nine flipping days pregnant.
