Hi. I've had mono for 10 months now and the biggest symptom I have is brain fog/disconnected/short term memory loss.... I'm also tired and have recently been through counseling for anexity and was put on zoloft... I have been told that mono can last a year. How long can you have mono? I have gone once a week for a while to the doctor and get regular cbc test and still test positive for mono...

Thanks

You can have..
Hi, i just recently recorvered from mono about 4 weeks ago. But for everyone, it's different. You don't know how long you can have mono for. If you feel the need to, which i did, was that i went to the ER to get steroids which took swelling away bc i was at the point where i could not swallow anything. The best thing you can do is just rest until you start feeling better, and keep with the medicine if you're taking any. Hope you feel better soon!
