Q: pills boyfriend peroid

I have been on birthcontrol for about 6 months now, and my boyfriend is coming down this weekend. And I usually start my period every 29 days and today is my 29th day and I havent started yet. Im on the last set of pills, and my friends said inorder to delay my period I just start a new pack. Does this really delay it?? And does it hurt me?? Thank you!

That is what will delay it, starting the new pack instead of the sugar pills. It's not really dangerous to do it for one month or even two, but you really don't want to do it for more than that since your period is a natural part of your bodily functions.
