I have been on birthcontrol for about 6 months now, and my boyfriend is coming down this weekend. And I usually start my period every 29 days and today is my 29th day and I havent started yet. Im on the last set of pills, and my friends said inorder to delay my period I just start a new pack. Does this really delay it?? And does it hurt me?? Thank you!

Yeah, starting a new pack instead of the sugar pills is the way to go. Delying for a month or even two won't hurt you, but you shouldn't do it more than that since your period is a natural function of your body.
