Q: Need for deep breath

I dont think its asthma, but recently somethign weird has been happening. I breath fine but sometimes I feel lik ei need to take a deep breath, but I cant really, then after a long tiem of trying I finally get it. And u have the need to take that really deep breath otherwise its uncomfterble. This used to happen to be a few years ago but stopped, now has started again. Someone told me it happens when ur growing? I dono if I explained that well enough

You should not have trouble taking a deep breath whenever you want to. I doubt this has anything to do with growing. I don't have asthma so perhaps someone who does can say whether or not this is a symptom they have experienced before. It seems the most likely culprit to me but maybe there is someone out there who has experienced this problem too and can give you a better reply. I personally think anytime you experience a problem that interferes with breathing in any way you should check with your doctor as soon as possible.

Are you a smoker? I am and have that prob occasionally when I smoke alot. I know I know I need to quit.
