Hellooo-im hoping someone may be able to
help me out.Im not really sure that I have
tmj I had a massive infection in my
wisdom tooth(thats out now) and it went
into my jaw-ever since ive had this
clicking jaw that really hurts after I
eat.Just that sort of really sore muscular
pain that fades after half an hour so long
as I dnt eat anything again...
Ive also been having really bad head
pressure that isnt actually pain-just a
massive pressure in my head around my
forehead that makes me sort of vague and
tired...Would anyone know if tmj could be
linked to this head pressure?
The reason I ask is that the head pressure
always seems to come on after I eat.....
Please help me out if you can:)im going to
a bunch of doctors that dont seem to have
a clue and im hoping I can suggest some
things to guide them...Ive had ct anbd mri
and the head pressure is nothing really
serious.But its def coming from
somewhere/something!

Hi ambi... I think you have tmj... Maybe
you should go to a dentist and findd out.
I have been told I had tmj, but sometimes
my jaw is ok, sometimes it is not! And
just recently, I have been having a
nagging head pressure- like you, tingling
hands and feet, sometimes I feel they are
cold, ear pressure and even the chills!
It's driving me crazy...

Ambi, you aren't alone. I have pretty
bad tmjd now caused by cracking my jaw and
experience a tight head off and on. Mine
is usually better in the morning, but as
the day progresses gets worse. The
forehead especially over each eye will
seem to get really tight and this is just
a result of your nerves being affected
from the disc in your tmj being misaligned
or whatever. I also get tired and I
believe this is because of the body
constantly battling the headaches and
accompanying stress by shooting endorphins
into your system... But I could be wrong.
Anyway, i'll be going to a specialist
soon to take care of it since I havent had
any professional help yet. Another
reason your head will get tight is stress
and anxiety that comes with it all... So
if you can control those, your symptoms
won't be as extreme. Good luck with the
whole thing. I believe it'll get better
if you take the right steps.
