I have concluded that the cause of my painful and frequent urination, painful intercourse, and hematuria is a uti. This is my first one and I don't really know much about having them. I know you can go to the doctor and get antibacterial meds, but i'd like to not do that since i'm away at college and I don't have the money really. I thought they only lasted a few days, but i'm almost at a week now. I finally broke down and purchased those uristat pills and---omg---it at least feels so much better and i'm not using the bathroom every hour. I know it's only a medication to help relieve the symptoms, but I was wondering when I should break down and see a doctor. I can do my own uti test to entirely ascertain that a uti is indeed my problem, but there's no way I have an std and this whole ic and other stuff just doesn't cut it for me. So any info will be appreciated. Thanks so much! :d
