Last saturday I completly lost my vision in my left eye. A few days before I noticed distortion in my vision and got it checked out, I was told I had pvd and be careful and vigilant if it gets worse. I did get a heck of a lot worse. So it's been 9 days since I have lost my vision, from a big black smudge like vision in my left eye to now an almost see through net curtain like vision, but momentarily gets worse and I see a black blur.

My eye still hurts when I look around. I am to see a neurologist, have the referal letter and just have to wait.

I haven't been to the gp yet but will do to find out why I have this, as there are multiple reasons as to the cause.

Has anyone else suffered from this? How long did it take to recover? I hear that almost 40% develop ms within 10 years, do you know anyone who has?

Any feedback is appriciated.
