Hi,
please can someone tell me what this is. I have had a pain in middle of my chest for about 5 hours now. Just slightly off center to the right, an inch or so.. It feels like a pulled muslce, if I turn left or right it hurts. I have done nothing strenious or any exercise to cause this. No pain in jaw or left arm, only slight dull weak pain feeling in right arm sometimes. If feels bruised, like I was hit in the chest, but I have not been.

Thank you

I'm 33 yrs old, two weeks ago I had a stent placed in my lad. I had a blockage of 85% in one artery. My bad chol. Was over 200. My mother had a massive heart attack about 1 year ago. The symtoms of her heart attack were very fresh in my mind. I though maybe I had pulled a muscle or something in my arm about 6 to 8 months ago. It felt like I had no strength in my right arm at all. I couldn't really lift anything. Most of the time it ached also. I didn't think too much about it. Now that I look back it was the first sign I had felt. When I knew I was having heart problems I was out of breath for no good reason, a heavy feeling in between my breasts, and my lower jaw was radiating. The weak feeling in my arm was there the whole time for the last 6 to 8 months and during the other symtoms. I went to the emergency and they ran blood tests and found one of my hormones from my heart was slightly elevated. My ekg was normal and my blood pressure was normal. They said the blood tests were probably wrong. They didn't take any chances even though I am only 33 yrs. They kept me over night and the next day transferred me too a larger hosp, were they did a heart cath, and found the blockage. I still can't believe it!
