Q: Nose Job Questions -- Please Help!

I have a lot of questions, but even answering just one would be greatly appreciated.

1) who are some of the best rhino surgeons in the country? So you know a little background, I need to have a combination rhino. Im looking to have the bump removed from my nose and the tip refined. My nose is slightly asymmetrical as well and i'd like to have that corrected. I've never had any work done.

2) I live in boston. Will I be able to find any excellent surgeons in my area or would I be better off looking in ny and la? Do pretty much all good plastic surgeons live in ny and la? If there isn't much of a difference between the best surgeon in boston and the best surgeons elsewhere, i'd probably stay put, but otherwise, i'd be willing to go elsewhere. If you know the names of any good boston surgeons, please let me know.

2) should I have a face-to-face consult with potential abroad surgeons or is there usually some way of communicating with them through phone and/or email? For instance, are they usually willing to send before/afters through mail or email so I can view their work?

3) how does the pricing vary depending on the part of the country? Is surgery much more expensive in cali than ny or boston?

4) is there a way of getting a surgeon's price range before consulting so I don't waste consultation money on a doctor who's too expensive and doesn't impress me otherwise?

4) are there any good surgeons you guys know of in less obvious locations like the midwest who might have a cheaper going rate?

5)what is the typical price range for a primary rhino from somebody top of the line like tabbal or nassif?

6)how successful are operations to correct nasal asymmetries usually, (mine isn't gross but it's noticeable) and are there certain surgeons who are particularly good at this procedure? Names would be great.

Why would u want to put yourself through uneccessary pain like that?

Just consider yourself lucky that you're healthy.

I have had two nose jobs, and my advice is to not choose a surgeon by email, better go and see! See if he understands what you want, see if he looks fair, see if his pictures are real, especially about profiles.
Repairing adssymentry is very difficult, it's called septorhinoplasty. Sometimes it's impossible to achieve absoulute simmetry, but it's always possible to improve....

If you want to do bump and tip and everything there will probably be a lot of swelling, be ready and do not panic

My Primary
I wish I had done more research. :-(

you mentioned the midwest. (where?) my primary surgeon was Dr. Richard parfitt from middleton, wisconsin.

Edit

luckily, I think I found a surgeon who can help me with the breathing and aesthetic problems of my nose.

Dr Richard Parfitt DESTROYED MY NOSE!
he's from middleton wis. and he ruined my entire face. he is a monster. he told me that i was crazy and even followed me online and sent his wife to spy on me! i haf ot have 2 revisions surgeries with other docs and they gave me back some of my beauty, but notfitt took away my natural look indeed. i had numerous defects of my nose after this man had me under his knife. i'll be suing him soon.
