I'm a 44 year old male and was just disganosed with slightly high blood pressure - 146/80 and was told while not altogether alarming, I should have it watched. All the info i've found online about controlling or lowering your blood pressure naturally are things i've already done my whole life: i've never smoked, never drink alchohol, eat a low fat diet, stay away from most high cholesterol products like eggs, cheese, etc., have either a low-salt or salt free diet, excerise moderately almost every day, am not the "hyper" or "stressed-out" type of personality (if anything, I tend to be too laid back), and so forth. I am, however, about 25 pounds overweight from what I should be. Is that probably responsible or are there other reasons? What more can I do to improve my lifestsyle other that what i'm already doing without resorting to medication? Is there reason yet to be worried at this stage?

Sounds like you're doing everything right, but I would join a gym and get rid of that 25lb overweight.
