Q: Kidney Stones And Erectile Dysfunction

I recently had lithrotipsy (sp?) and am in the process of passing the stones (5mm, 3mm and maybe some more). They are currently moving through the ureter to the bladder. Have had some intense pain at time and having a very difficult time achieving or maintaining an erection. I'm 47, never had erection problems. Is this a result of the kidney stone and pain associated with the movement of the ston? Would appreciate some knowledge on this matter, very depressed.

same situation
Hi I am 25 years old, and I have a kidney stone around 2mm. I used to have a really active sex life and never had erection problems. I felt the pain around one 3 weeks ago and after I came back to home from ER couldn't have erection. same happened up until now. It really caused so many problems for my relationship and it is really depressing. I am using cialic now which is totally awesome. however i really want to cure this problem and not just ignore it by using ED medicine. I beleive there is a connection between kidney stone and erectile dysfunction, or at least it can be a cause of pain killers that i have prescibtion for. one example might be percoset which if you search in google you can find couple of instances. It seems it hasn't proved yet but i beleive that there should be a relationship.

Kidney Stones and ED
I just was diagnosed with a 3mm kidney stone and haven't felt too much pain yet. But I cannot get an erection, my penis actually feels really numb with no sensation. I've never had problems with erection my entire life. Anybody else with the same problem or know why I can't get an erection?

My Husband is only 29 and he has had a kidney stone in the past. Recently he has had pain in his kidneys and he had peeed out little bits of sediment or stones. The pain is severe and almost makes his knees buckle. Then, when we go to have sex, in the middle of it he loses the erection and he has also said it feels numb. It makes him depressed. He has asked doctors if there is a link between kidney pain and erectile disfunction but they just look at him like he's crazy. It's so fustrating. We are trying to have a baby. I feel so upset watching him in pain. Wish doctors cared enough to look into it.
