Hey all,

well I have had some people tell me that you shouldnt get pericings or tattoos while your pregnant. But then others have said its ok. While I want a tattoo but wating till after the baby because of the ink. But with pericings, does that really matter if you get one while your pregnant? I was just wondering.

Piercings, like tattoos still open your body up to infection. The choice is yours, but if it were me, then no way would I want to possibly jeopardize my baby's life.

Your prone to infection pregnant or not

I have a few piercings and heard nothing of it, its just getting a shot prone to infection(epidural, blood test etc.) the only thing is, its ur choice to make, I have to pull my piercing out usually around 7-8 month cause my skin stretches and I want to put them in post pregnancy but I have had most of my piercings 5 years . I had 7 piercings I removed eyebrow and tongue completly(for work) but I still have ears and belly button.........................

Nipple piercings can take a long time to heal though and I had to take mine out after nine months because they kept getting infected0and I wasnt pregnant or anything tongue piercings heal pretty fast and ear and nose.
