Hey there everyone!!! I have been taking bc for about three years now....My doctor has switched me around five different times on the pills. I started taking modicon two months ago. During this second month I had infection and had to take cipro. I was supposed to start my period almost two weeks ago!!!! I havent started yet!! I have taken two pregnancy tests which both came up to (-) negative. I was just wondering if the antiboitic and the me starting new pills would have something to do with this.. Please answere I dont know where to turn....I live on the nc coast, and my doctors office is closed for the rest of the week due to hurrincane ophelia!!!! Please help!!

I think you're fine. It sounds like it's probably the crazy mix of pills your body has been through. I'd try to relax; stressing out can make your period even later! If your period doesn't start by the time your doctor's office opens, I wouldn't worry too much. It just sounds like your menstrual cycle is a little out of whack from the medicine. Once you get the chance to go back to your doctors, do so, if you feel it will alleviate yor fears. That's what doctors are for!
