Q: Advice For Chemotherapy?

Hello,

have any of you had experience with the following chemotherapy drugs "oxaliplatin" and "xeloda". My mother will be undergoing this treatment in a couple of days. She had a stage iii tumor in her colon which she was recently operated for. 3 lymph nodes were removed and returned positive. Because of this, doctors recommend she receives preventative chemotherapy treatment. However, she is not sure if she wants to go along with it. She is worried that it might cause her more harm than good. I was just hoping to get some advice on my mother's case.

Thank you very much,

steve.
