Q: Swollen Lymphnode? Throat Cancer? Help!

So about 3 weeks ago I wake up with something in my throat causing me to hack up flem and discharge. It even felt like I had bad breath for a week. No matter how much I brushed. The lump feels like it's mainly a swollen lymphnode on my right side. There is no difficulty in swallowing. There is no pain now. And the lump will some days be larger than others. I'm concerned because I don't have time to goto the hospital to check it out and was wondering if anyone knew if this was the symptom of throat cancer. The lump feels like it's in muscle or tissue and it has caused me great concern. Please some medical advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Lump In Throat
I don't want to worry you but I would get that checked out by a Dr. I have and am afraid still do have thyroid cancer. About a month ago I had a sore throat with a large lymphgland that hurt when I swallowed. The pain radiated up into my ear. This lasted about 3 weeks then subsided. Soon after for a shorter period of time I had the pain on the opposite side which also went into my ear when I swallowed. I have a dr appt. Scheduled for the 22 of march 06 I am worried too and am not goig to hesitate to see this Dr. Please try and make time to see a Dr.
